Wes, I have thought of you so often since our graduation. I guess I missed you at UCLA, as I was at the Law School from 1969-1972. I just noticed that one of your daughter's is named Mariko. I love the name and know that the love of my life was named Mariko Morikawa (Ikeda). I would so much like to talk with you sometime - 707 431-3710. Rick(y) Sorensen Romero.

I just got off the phone with our Classmate Les Schwartz. We talked about the "specialness" of Larry Fritz and our Class of 1965. Something unique about Larry and our Class leaders was that often the "athletes" were integrally involved in student government and other extracurriuclar activities - this was Larry. I still dream of my High School Classmates though my family moved from West Covina at my graduation. I miss our family of diverse and incredible individuals. I will miss Larry. All my love to his sister and family. Sinceramente, Ricky Sorensen Romero

Happy belated Birthday Patti - just recently Kitty (Trout) Rudometkin, her husband Steve, and I were talking about you. Fortunately, they left when they did not know that the Valley of the Moon, Sonoma County, area they were camping in for a week was evacuated by the fires.

John my sincere best wishes on your 70 birthday - another 1947 baby! It appears that our wildfires in Wine Country are nearing an end finally.

Skippy, how I have thought about you and our "Stand By Me" years. Do you remember the Home Run fence we built in your backyard and played Home Run Derby throughout the Summer? Many happy memories of camping out there as well. Rick (Ricky) Sorensen Romero.

Mary, I am so grateful for this class communication site. Sadly, I read of my dear friend Larry's condition of recent as posted by you. I have seen very few 1965 Classmates since I moved to the Sonoma County Wine Country and now Pacific Coast. Larry and I were close and this news motivated me to secure my signed four Yearbooks from 1961 - 1965. Larry was so young looking and vibrant, be it athletics or Student Council. These grand formative years are increasingly entering my mind as I approach 70 and am raising two of my Grandsons, 9 and 11. All of my love and Buddhist meditations to both of you. If you feel writing or talking please let me know. I can be contacted by any of my classmates at (707) 431-3710 or rromero@romeroinsurance.com. With warm thoughts, Ricky Sorensen Romero

I am looking forward to the Reunion, my first, and completing my Profile this week. We had one special class during these formative years and thank you to all who are organizing this special event. I live in Bodega Bay, Northern CA, land of "The Birds." Two of my grandsons who I raise, 7 and 9, attend the very Elementary School used in Hitchcock's film! Ricky
