Back in the 90's E.H.S had a mini-reunion that was poorly attended. It was cool to see a few of the teachers. I was still living in Texas at the time, and after I returned, I got an e-mail from Rod Jordan saying he thought we should connect, and that someone attending the reunion had given him my contact info. This was really strange as we had never dated in high school, but used to loved to feed off each other's sense of humor, and to make each other laugh. We e- chatted ,talked on the phone and sent each other little gifts. It was pretty amazing because we both had so much in common, and I began to wonder if we would be coming to this reunion as a couple. We never managed to get together in person between our jobs, and family illnesses, but were just going to work that out for the last reunion, when he announced he had some large health problems he had to resolve and needed time to address them .Rod was on the M.I.A list for the reunion, so I called and gave the committee his phone number. I was quite shocked when the committee toold me he had passed away. Seems he ddin't want ot distress me with the gravity of his illness. If anyone reading this knows who gave him my number, I would just like to know that piece of the puzzle . Rod was hillarious, upbeat and very kind. Hope to see you face to face at the big reunion in the heavenlys one day friend.
