Randall Lynn Wiens,  November 18, 1947 to February 27, 2019  

The following is from the Big Bear Grizzly newspaper.

Graveside services and Military Honors for Randy will be held May 25th, 2019, at 11AM at Gold Mountain Memorial Park Big Bear City, California.

Randy was stricken with complications of Parkinson's disease and left this earth on February 27, 2019 at the age of 71.  He was born on November 18th, 1947, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Stanley and Carolyn Wiens of Madrid, Nebraska.  Those he left behind were his mother, Carolyn of Fwnskin, California, his Brother and Sister-in-Law Michael and Sherry Wiens, his niece Valerie Robinson and his great nieces Larissa and KaitlynVanata.  Others left behind were his uncles and aunts, Shirlee Wiens, Dewey and Betty Wiens, Calvin and Irma Young and Wendell Young.  He was proceeded in death by his dad Stanley in 2001 and has brother Brian in 2014.

Randy served in the United States Special Forces known as the Green Beret.  He graduated top of his class and was a medical specialist, his group was assigned and focused on the Middle East and Africa.  Randy graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, and established his own law firm specializing in civil litigation.

Randy was gifted in music and played the piano since age 10 as well as approximately a dozen other instruments for shorter periods of time.  He was a licensed pilot with both instrument and commercial ratings.  He enjoyed golfing, scuba diving and traveled to many places in the world.

Randy visit the Big Bear area often as a child spending time with his family and friends at Stanley and Carolyn's cabin.  As an adult he would spend Christmas and the first part of July in Big Bear celebrating the Forth of July and the birthday of his Mom and great niece Larissa, on July 6th.

Randy will always be remembered, loved and missed.  The love of his family and friends will keep his spirit alive forever.
